Sharing the Gospel through unity, community, and discipleship in Christ.

Youth

Growing together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

We are about glorifying God with our whole life and being. To know Christ, to love one another, to love our church, and to bring that love to our community and world around us. To know our need for our Savior and to consistently depend on His grace to convict us of sin, and to show us His grace in how we love others.

Wednesday Evenings

6:30pm - 8:30PM

Youth Ministry is a place where the sincerity of the gospel is taught. We want the bible to be our starting and ending point, where we get to know who God is and how we are called to glorify Him. We believe in a safe and respectful environment where youth (7th-12th grade) can come and know one another, with the hope of building life-long friendships. We are passionate about truth and how that applies to our lives, and how we can build one another up in that truth to encourage real and genuine evangelism. We want to preach the gospel in our lives, and if necessary, use words. We use music, games, lessons, outreach, prayer and relationships to practically walk in the call to know Jesus and to tell others about His saving grace. Because, as we see the struggle of our own need for God's grace and forgiveness, we want that hope to be spread to others as we are going through life, seeking to glorify Him in all we do.

Pat Lynch, Director

I have been attending SHCC for many years. I met my wife (Jillian) here, and we have two beautiful daughters. I have loved being a part of a community that puts knowing Jesus first. It is always my desire to know Christ and to continually know my need for His saving grace.

Jillian Lynch, Leader

I am blessed to live with the three best people in the world, Patrick (my husband) and our two daughters. I love learning about the love of Jesus through the beauty of the Bible alongside the youth of SHCC.

Katherine Meske, Leader

I first started attending SHCC in the early 80’s and have loved being married to my husband (Cal) for 50+ years. My favorite thing about working with the youth is getting to see the growth in the students, and how they get stronger in the Lord from 7th through 12th grade.
